NWR gaan sy oorde opknap

Namibia Wildlife Resorts Limited (NWR) sê hy gaan die meeste van sy oorde teen 'n beraamde koste van N$16 miljoen opknap.

"Die NWR se grootste uitdaging is sy verouderde infrastruktuur. Ons moes planne beraam om ons bates op te knap, ná alle uitgawes as gevolg van die impak van die Covid-19-pandemie op ons inkomstebronne op ys geplaas is. Dié nuwe hoofstuk stel ons in staat om terug te keer na 'n voorkoms en ervaring van hoë standaard by al ons oorde," sê Nelson Ashipala, bestuurder van korporatiewe kommunikasie.

"Sommige van die oorde soos Okaukuejo se opknapping is reeds voltooi. Grootskaalse opknapping is ook by Onkoshi en Sossuss Dune Lodge onderweg."

Van die oorde wat nog opgeknap moet word, sluit in Ai –Ais, Waterberg, Sossus Dune Lodge en die Hardapdam-oord.
