#PasIn: SIM-registrasie se afsnydatum weer uitgestel

Die minister van inligting en kommunikasietegnologie, dr. Peya Mushelenga, het vanoggend die tydperk vir registrasie van simkaarte verleng na 31 Maart 2024.

Die tydperk is al verskeie kere verleng met die nuutste afsnydatum wat 1 Januarie 2024 sou wees.

“Vanaf 27 Desember 2023 het selfoonoperateurs gesamentlik gerapporteer dat 62,5% van aktiewe simkaartgebruikers geregistreer het, wat 1 491 349 uit 2 383 920 aktiewe intekenare beteken,” luidens ’n kennisgewing van die ministerie.
