World body supports NKF
Kendo
The road least travelled ... The teachings of the old Samurai from Japan has survived centuries and was written up in the All Japan Kendo Federation (AJKF) handbook to serve as a guide for current and future Kendo players.
The same AJKF noticed the dedicated band of Kendoka practicing the art of Kendo in Namibia and has decided to include Namibia as one of four countries in the world they are supporting with shinai (training swords) and Bogu or armour.
This made it possible to practice from Kihon or basics, to more advanced Kendo where the students don their armour and have gi-geiko (sparring) with each other to improve their swordsmanship in preparation for a real Shinsa or competition.
A big shout-out and thank you to all the Senseis, present and past who guided us on the path of Kendo (way of the sword).

To the students, Ganbatte (do your best)!
