The FNB Women Super League made a triumphant return as the Unam Bokkies delivered a stellar performance, securing a dominant 7-2 victory over Okahandja FC at the Nau-Aib Stadium in Okahandja on Saturday.

Unam Bokkies forward Muhinatjo Hanavi showcased her skill by scoring a hat-trick, while Taotago Afrikaner, Anna-Cheria Fredericks, Hillary Gonteb and Tjijangapara Zauana each contributed a goal to the impressive win.

Head coach Thuba Sibanda expressed satisfaction with the players' performance after a prolonged break.

"It was a great match. Being the first one after a long break, we had limited time to prepare. Achieving such a score away from home is not an easy feat. Our focus is on minimising conceding goals. While it's early to plan for the season, we'll take it one match at a time and aim to maintain our winning streak," she said.

At the Namibia Football Association (NFA) technical centre in Windhoek, Beauties FC demonstrated defensive prowess by maintaining a clean sheet against Northern side Ongwediva Queens FC. Fiola Vliete scored twice, and Shamela Damases added a third goal, instilling hope and reigniting title aspirations for the Beauties.

In another fixture, Namib Daughters FC and Goals & Girls FC battled to a goalless draw at the Mondesa Stadium in Swakopmund.
