Trustco United maintained their impressive run of form in the Namibia Rugby Union Premier League with a commanding 57-21 victory over FNB Reho Falcon on Matchday 7, while FNB Grootfontein returned to winning ways and defending champions FNB Kudus secured an important 42-27 away win over FNB UNAM.

United followed up last week's statement victory over Grootfontein with another dominant display, running in nine tries to strengthen their position among the league's leading contenders.

Winger Irongwa Atshivudi crossed for two tries, while captain DJ Holtzhausen added one of his own. Flyhalf Hanreco van Zyl also scored twice, with prop Kamaa Kajau matching that tally. Thehard Lintvelt also got on the scoresheet as United proved too strong for Reho Falcon throughout the contest.

At Grootfontein, the league leaders responded positively to their first defeat of the season, edging FNB Dolphins 41-36 in a high-scoring encounter. The victory keeps Grootfontein firmly in the title race after seeing their unbeaten run ended by United a week earlier.

Defending champions Kudus produced a strong attacking performance to secure a 42-27 victory over UNAM at the UNAM Stadium. Winger Aston Mukwiilongo starred with a hat-trick of tries, while centre Tonderai Ndudzo and lock Clayton Camm also crossed the line to secure a valuable away win for the Walvis Bay side.

FNB Rehoboth continued their impressive resurgence with a convincing 44-19 victory over Western Suburbs.

The visitors crossed for six tries, with forward Titus Mathias leading the way with a brace. Winger Delano Vries was again influential and got his name on the scoresheet, while Miquel Busch produced an all-round kicking display, scoring a try, converting two and landing a penalty from behind the halfway line.

Western Suburbs showed moments of resistance, with their eighthman scoring two tries and Kavita Zondunge adding another after coming off the bench, but Rehoboth's attacking quality ultimately proved decisive.

With United extending their winning streak, Grootfontein bouncing back, Kudus remaining in strong form and Rehoboth continuing to climb the standings, the competition remains tightly contested as the season moves into a crucial phase.
