Each of the four matches will be influential.
Another exciting round of action awaits in the Namibia Secondary Schools Rugby (NSSR) U19 Super League this weekend, with four key matches set to impact the league standings as the second half of the season heats up.
The featured clash of the weekend will see Samsung Windhoek High School (WHS) take on InSpares Pro-Ed Akademie at FNB Vegkop Stadium in Windhoek. Kick-off is at 12:00, with live coverage on NTV and https://oneuptwo.com, starting with the pre-match build-up from 11:45.
Reigning title holder WHS remains one of three unbeaten sides in the league with three wins from three, and will be eager to keep pressure on log leaders Moria.
Pro-Ed, still winless after four games, are desperate for a turnaround, but the Swakopmund team faces a major challenge away from home.
In Outjo, table-toppers OK Moria Bears return home to face the De Duinesig combination from Walvis Bay. Moria has been a standout team so far, sitting at the top of the log with a perfect four-from-four record, a remarkable 96 points difference, and the league’s best defence.
De Duinesig will be hoping to deliver a big upset while improving on their mid-table standing.
Meanwhile, in Walvis Bay, sixth-placed Namib Diesel Walvis Bay Private School (WBPS) face a stern test against King Price Windhoek Gymnasium, who is currently placed fourth. Both sides have two wins and will be eyeing this fixture as a potential springboard into the top three.
WBPS will bank on home support at Naartjie Park, but the Windhoek Gymnasium team led by national U18 captain and loose-forward 8 Vincent Scholtz is capable of launching fast-paced attacks.
In the north, Compack Tsumeb Gymnasium hosts Autohaus Windhoek Affies in what could be the most evenly matched fixture of the round. Tsumeb is in second position with three wins and just one loss, while Affies are chasing them closely from fifth. A win here would be huge for either side's playoff hopes.
All four matches are scheduled to kick off at 12:00 on Saturday.
With Moria setting the pace and just a few points separating the next five teams, every match this weekend carries playoff implications. Expect intensity, rivalries, and possibly a few surprises as teams fight to stay in contention.
