Toyota backs Brave Warriors campaign

The Brave Warriors’ road to the 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign gained momentum as Toyota joined other companies in supporting the initiative.
The automotive company launched a campaign that includes an SMS competition, with the grand prize being a brand-new car.
The competition will give away a brand-new Toyota Starlet XS worth N$300,000, fully sponsored by Toyota South Africa Motors.
Speaking on behalf of Toyota South Africa Motors, Shawapala Kandjabanga (Brand Manager: Pupkewitz Motors) praised the partnership with the campaign:
“Even though we are hosting you in our showroom today, this sponsorship was made possible by Toyota South Africa Motors, and I would like to thank them for making this possible.
We hope that this competition will add to the excitement of the Brave Warriors’ dream to qualify for the 2026 World Cup. When that goal is finally achieved, we want to say we were part of that journey,” Kandjabanga said.
To enter the competition, customers must text the words “Brave Warriors” to the code 106.
Each SMS is charged at just N$3, and participants can enter as many times as they wish.
The competition will also award weekly prizes in the form of N$1,000 shopping vouchers.
The competition started yesterday and will run until 31 August 2025. The draw will take place no later than five days after the closing date and will be conducted live.
Chairperson of the campaign committee, Tim Ekandjo, expressed his gratitude to Toyota South Africa:
“On behalf of the Campaign Committee and the football fraternity, we would like to thank Toyota South Africa Motors for their generous donation.
We encourage all Namibians to participate — by doing so, you are not only contributing towards the campaign, but also putting yourself in a great position to drive away in a brand-new vehicle.
Please share this campaign with as many Namibians as possible so that we can generate maximum support,” Ekandjo remarked.
