Thirty athletes selected for AUSC Region 5 Games

The Namibian track and field team has been selected to compete at the upcoming AUSC Region Five Games.The athletics programme is expected to be hosted from 9 to 12 July at Swakopmund, due to Windhoek’s Independence Stadium not being recognised as up to standard by World Athletics’ requirements.Zidane Gawaseb of Erongo and Karina Theunissen of Khomas have been confirmed as the coaches of the boys and girls groups, respectively.
