Suburbs first to derail Kudus

FNB Western Suburbs on Saturday afternoon surprised FNB Kudus with six tries to four at the Hage Geingob Stadium in Windhoek to clinch victory with 36-26 handing Kudus their first defeat of the 2022 NRU premier league season.The Khomasdal team unexpectedly raced to a 19-0 lead by half-time. Kudus scored 26 points (four tries) in the second half, but Suburbs added 17 to their tally.Both teams got one bonus point for scoring at least four tries. Suburbs narrowly missed out on their seventh try, which would have earned them a deserved second bonus point for their efforts on the day. Kudus also missed out on another bonus point if they could have kept the losing margin within seven points.With a few minutes left of the game, Kudus were trailing by 31-26.
