Promoter Nestor ‘Sunshine’ Tobias emphasised that the event was designed to give young boxers practical experience and demonstrate the growing talent pool in Namibian boxing. He highlighted the importance of grassroots support, stating that events like this help to identify future champions and encourage government and community support for the sport.
With a strong turnout of participants, supported by experienced ringside officials and medical staff, the event ran smoothly and reinforced Namibia’s reputation for producing world-class boxing talent.
