NFA Cup round of 16 brings the heat

Various Debmarine Namibia Premiership rivals have been pitted against each other in the round of 16 of the PstBet NFA Cup, following the draw which was conducted at the NFA Football House yesterday.The venues for this coming weekend’s fixtures will be confirmed this week, but one of the enticing fixtures in the round of 16 will be between the teams that finished second and third in the Debmarine Namibia Premiership season. Khomas Nampol and Ongos FC will face off for a quarter-final place in this season’s PstBet NFA Cup. Yesterday’s draw placed African Stars against a traditional rival that is coming to terms with being relegated from the top flight. Sunday’s matches The NFA PstBet Cup on Sunday saw the exit of one of the country’s oldest football teams. Eeshoke Chula Chula eliminated Blue Waters with a 3-2 win at the Independence Stadium.
