Namibia Cue Sports Federation (NCSF) president Cyril Möller has expressed gratitude to Pupkewitz Toyota for their support of the federation’s athletes during recent international competitions.
Speaking during a courtesy visit to the company on Friday, Möller highlighted the significance of the sponsorship in helping players take part in global events.
“We’d like to say thank you to Pupkewitz Motors for reaching out their hand to us and sponsoring us in taking on certain challenges to alleviate our burden,” he said.
“For a big company like Pupkewitz, we really appreciate their social responsibility towards us.”
He noted that Pupkewitz Toyota had availed services towards the country’s participation at the Junior Heyball World Championship in Australia earlier this year, easing some of the financial pressures on the federation.
“It’s a heartfelt situation that they’re actually there for us. We can only say thank you to Pupkewitz Motors, and especially to brand manager Shawapala Kandjabanga, who opened his hands to help take Namibia cue sports to another level,” Möller added.
The brand reaffirmed its continued commitment to supporting sports in the country, with Kandjabanga saying Pupkewitz Toyota remained proud to stand behind local athletes.
