Jiao and Bergh take ludorum prizes at national championship
Open water swimming
The Namibia Aquatic Sports Federation (Nasfed)’s national open water swimming championship showcased thrilling races at Lake Oanob near Rehoboth on Saturday and Sunday.
Tight finishes, standout individual performances, and strong team efforts marked the weekend’s event, which was made possible by the Pupkewitz Foundation.
Swimmers of Dolphins and Aqua dominated across age groups and distances.
Naan Jiao (Dolphins) and Madison Bergh of Aqua was named the victor and victrix ludorum of the national championship.
Nasfed president Riaan Steyn expressed appreciation to all officials and other stake holders that contributed to making the event a success.
