Futsal works towards national selection

The 2023 Futsal Leagues kicked off successfully over the weekend at the Windhoek Show Grounds.Football was played in three divisions (Premier, first and second division) with league organizers Andrei Tirterao and Absai Simon announcing some new developments. Tirterao stated that since they have been approved by the Namibia Football Association, a lot of opportunities are opening up. “We put a lot of hours into in this initiative,” he added.He said they will introduce a corporate league this year and give chance to those who want to play for fun. They also held their first referee training to grow the community of qualified match officials. “They will change the constitution to fall in line with NFA and FIFA statutes.
