The Schoemans Group Windhoek Gymnasium Lions were crowned the Standard Bank NSSR U19 Super League champions last year after a 24-23 victory in the final.The Lions will again meet 2022’s beaten finalists Autohaus Windhoek Afrikaans Private School at Gymnasium’ field at 17:00 on Friday.Gymnasium’s triumph in 2022 came through a last-minute penalty in front of the posts which fly-half JW Visagie calmly converted, to overtake Affies’ lead just before the final whistle.Visagie will be absent tomorrow – touring in Tanzania with the Namibia junior cricket team on their quest for U19 World Cup qualification.
