Metro gives back

Metro Namibia today announced the winners of three fully equipped food trailers. They are Anastasia Nyemwati from Oshakati (represented by Joseph Nauyoma, Hugo van Zyl from Windhoek and Samuel Kalimbo from Gobabis.

These three lucky winners participated in Metro Namibia’s Birthday Promotion that began late last year to celebrate its anniversary and to express gratitude to its loyal customers supporting the 27 Metro stores across the country.

The winners were chosen from the Metro Rewards Card database.

Besides the trailer, each winner also received N$5 000 on their Metro Rewards Card. The aim is to allow the winners to create employment and develop their skill sets.

During Metro’s Birthday Promotion in November 2023, more than N$500 000 in Metro Rewards was loaded to lucky winners’ cards.

“We extend our gratitude to our customers for their unwavering support and we are excited to keep serving you with the new stores we are planning to open in 2024,” Eswee van Wyk, Deputy MD of Metro Namibia, said. “The trailers are our way of giving back to the community and saying thank you.”
