Speed humps
ANONYMOUS WRITES:
The thing with the speed bumps and low speed regulations on the freeway are according to law illegal.
A freeway is built for traffic to flow without restrictions. Pedestrians are illegal to be on or over the freeway. They are protecting people who are breaking the law in the first place. You may not stop on a freeway but look at all the taxis on the side of the road, there are even people selling wood and grass and what knows, but what is to be done there? It’s like protecting a murderer with another law to justify his act.
In each town roads are contaminated with unbearable speed humps. Speed humps are there to slow you down to the speed limit, not cause you to stop dead and crawl over them, even on 5-10 km/h and damage cars. They do not pay for damage. Look at some speed humps in 40 km/h zones, you must stop almost dead before crawling over them. Even if you adhere to the speed limit, you won’t be able to go over them without damaging your car.
What about ambulance service with a patient with severe injuries? How must they feel in the back of the ambulance if they drive over such speed bumps?
