Handelsplatform vir houtskool bekend gestel

CMO International het onlangs ‘n nuwe toep vir Namibiese houtskoolprodusente bekendgestel om aan hulle toegang tot internasionale verskaffingskettings in Europese en Noord-Amerikaanse markte te bied.

Namibië het dienooreenkomstig die eerste land ter wêreld geword om te begin handel dryf op die ForestTrader-portaal (FSC-N).

Houtskoolprodusente wat Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-sertifisering het, kan van die toep gebruik maak. CMO sê dit is aanpasbaar, gebruikersvriendelik en gebruikers kan toegang daartoe kry deur ‘n tablet, rekenaar of selfoon.

Dit werk ook in werklike tyd en bied logistieke hulp vir die verskeping van bestellings en doen elektroniese betalings.

CMO het ‘n plaaslike kantoor op Otjiwarongo, met Lilani Fourie as die Namibiese bestuurder. “CMO se ForestTrader geniet die volle ondersteuning van FSC se internasionale sentrum in Bonn,” het Fourie gesê en bygevoeg dat dit handel in houtskool tot nuwe hoogtes sal neem.

Sy is ook van mening dat die platform aan beide klein- en grootskaalse produsente ‘n geleentheid sal bied om op gelyke vlak mee te ding en voordele vir albei sal inhou.
