Regional convenors get guidance from Julene Meyer
The NSSU Code Committee, in collaboration with Netball Namibia, hosted a schools netball planning workshop last weekend, bringing together a total of 39 regional convenors from all regions in Namibia.
The two-day workshop, facilitated by Julene Meyer, senior national head coach of the Debmarine Desert Jewels, provided practical training on how to effectively organise and manage the annual netball leagues in their respective regions.
The workshop held at Windhoek Gymnasium Private School also focused on equipping members with the knowledge and responsibility to ensure continuous netball participation among learners across Namibia.
This important initiative was made possible through the generous sponsorship of the Capricorn Group, in collaboration with the Namibia Schools Sports Union (NSSU). Their continued support plays a vital role in strengthening grassroots netball development across the country.
The organisers have extended their heartfelt thanks to all participants, supporters, and partners for their commitment to advancing the sport. “We are excited to see the positive outcomes of this workshop as the year progresses.”
