Woermann Brock shows their love

The Woermann Brock We Care Trust donated foodstuff to the value of N$50 000 as well as clothing to the Ministry of Health and Social Services (MoHSS). The donation took part in two sessions, on 12 June and 16 June, at the ministry’s offices.Michael Shilongo, Chief Administrative Officer of the MoHSS, conveyed their appreciation for this donation and gave the assurance that the donation would be given to those that require it.The WB We Care Trust was founded in 2005 by Woermann Brock CEO, Jesko Woermann, to ensure that money made available for corporate responsibility projects is spent appropriately. Although the focus of the WB We Care Trust is primarily on orphans and children affected by HIV/Aids, the trustees felt that an effort should be made to assist those who were hit the hardest by the effects of Covid-19.Rebecca Woermann, a trustee of the WB We Care Trust, said that it is a privilege to be able to assist, and hopes that other companies will also realise how some of our fellow Namibians struggle to get food on the table.The WB We Care Trust invites organisations who assist orphans and those affected by HIV/Aids to apply for assistance and benefits, just as numerous other beneficiaries currently receiving monthly contributions.Fennie Mwetudhana, administrator of the trust, can be contacted in this regard.More information on the WB We Care Trust can be found at www.woermannbrock.com.
