Die voorbladberig in Republikein van 6 November dui op die moontlikheid van grootskaalse korrupsie; dit terwyl ons land gebuk gaan onder een van die moeilikste finansiële jare ooit.
Goeie dag lesers. Ek wil net vra hoekom is so 'n klein dorpie verpes onder die korrupsie? Kan die inwoners dan niks doen nie? Gaan dit net oor boetie, boetie besigheid? "Rehoboth the town" veronderstel om te wees? Wie is volgende aan bewind met hul leuens?
Mr President please look after us, the labourers and cleaners in the Public Service. We are the face of the GRN. We make the working environment friendly with our hard work. We start the day before everyone and we end it after everyone. Please increase our salaries at least up to N$5 000 the basic so we can also have affordability for housing. No bank wants to help us in buying houses. They say we must at least pay N$5 000 in order to qualify for a house. We are suffering, we have families too. According to me the cleaness of a place says it all, so please Mr President, like we do our work, please at least grant us this request so we can also feel like we are part of the GRN and be helped with what others benefit from other institutions like other public servants. – Labourer
