Mag ek hierdie platform gebruik om 'n ope brief te rig aan die minister van stedelike en landelike ontwikkeling sowel as die minister van die omgewing en toerisme.

Windhoek, on several occasions has been named Africas cleanest city. Sadly this does not apply to small towns in Namibia which are in a state of decay. Rubbish is dumped on pavements and on open ervin.

Can the counsellors of these towns and villages not please introduce a "black bag contractor" policy? Unemployed citizens are issued with black refuse bags and, on a contract basis, are paid for each bag they they fill in their designated areas.

Not only will our towns be cleared of refuse but jobs are created at the same time!!! Really not rocket science!

Please Minister, hold your town CEOs, Mayors and counsellors responsible for the cleanliness of their towns. Tourism depends on this.

In Khorixas NWR are spending good money on rebuilding the Khorixas Restcamp but the town is so dirty that I don't see them attracting tourism to that establishmen.
