Can City of Windhoek perhaps concentrate on completing their daily duties for which they charge the Windhoek residents monthly like
• cleaning the pavements and making them walkable
• repairing potholes in the streets
• cleaning and upgrading of the playgrounds in town and disinfecting them and also repairing the fields for soccer and baseball on the playgrounds as they are regularly used
• replacing all skew and broken street light poles
• get job seeking persons to clean the roads and riverbeds and pay them daily after inspecting if work was done
• install more CCTV cameras, especially at crime hotspots
• cut bushes and trees at intersections and along streets which obstruct drivers view
• supply every resident with running water and toilets
• give pensioners better deals on their monthly bills so they can survive
• give the residents a Covid offer like less basic charges
And the list goed on and on and on, instead of getting involved in 5G, which only is done to pocket money for some individuals. A Smart City must also be a CLEAN and SAFE city. This is what Windhoek used to be.
Leave the networking to companies who are working with it and by the way, we the residents of Windhoek don’t want 5G. Fibreoptics is the answer and healthier.
