Vyf skole sluit in Okahandja weens Covid-19

Vyf regeringskole in die Okahandja-distrik het tydelik gesluit weens die uitbreking van Covid-19 onder onderwysers, skoolhoofde en leerlinge. Die direkteur van onderwys vir die Otjozondjupastreek, me. Josephine Mutenda, sê die geraakte skole is die primêre skole Vyf Rand, Aurora en Okahandja en die sekondêre skole KW von Marees Gekombineerde Skool en JG van der Wath. Die skole open weer Maandag of Dinsdag.

Volgens Mutenda is die primêre skool Vooruit op Otjiwarongo ook vandag en môre gesluit, nadat 'n beduidende aantal leerlinge ook hier positief getoets het.
"Ons is in noue kontak met die ministerie van gesondheid en maatskaplike dienste wat ons raad gee oor hoe om die skole te sluit en wanneer om dit weer te heropen," het sy gesê. - Nampa
