Making a decision about what to study after high school is a daunting yet exhilarating task. With more than 250 careers covered, the Careers Focus sets out to broaden your horizon on the possibilities and opportunities that await after you don your school uniform one last time. Q:What makes this publication so unique, and what can readers look forward to reading?A:The objective is to inform and educate the public on available products and services; to assist these groups to boost their skills through providing information on where you can get extra classes; new technical learning methods that are changing; as well as financial institutions. Furthermore, this publication focuses on an impressive number of unique career options, affording a company the chance to be aligned with this unique format of information. Industries that are featured, especially now and to mention just a few are:•Health and Social Services – Health professionals all over the world are the frontrunners during this pandemic and risk their lives to ensure that we are safe.•Education – Teachers and stakeholders in the education fraternity are forced to be creative and innovative to ensure that no child is left behind in terms of receiving an education.•Transport and Logistics – Although borders are closed, essential goods still need to be transported. Truck drivers and logistics officials have done a great deal to ensure that goods reach their destination.•Tourism – This is one of the most badly hit industries due to the pandemic. The tourism industry has started to change their business model with more focus on local travellers. Q:What sparked the idea for this publication?A:NMH believes that if we use real professionals to illustrate their passion for their career choices, this will make the choices in the life of a potential up-and-coming career professional much easier. The Virtual Careers Expo will focus on universities, vocational training centres, career professionals, and institutions offering a product or services to the unique career searching individual.
