Dr. Hage Geingob was Namibië se eerste premier en het tot in 2002 in die amp gedien.

Hy was die voorsitter van Namibië se grondwetskrywende vergadering.

Geingob is op Otjiwarongo gebore op 3 Augustus 1941.

Hy het skoolgegaan op Otavi en by die destydse Augustineum op Okahandja. Hy was 'n onderwyser op Tsumeb voor hy in ballingskap gegaan het. Vanaf Botswana het hy na Amerika gegaan waar hy verder studeer het en Namibië by die Verenigde Nasies (VN) verteenwoordig het.

Geingob het 'n BA-graad, 'n meestersgraad in internasionale verhoudinge en 'n doktersgraad in demokrasie en goeie bestuur.

Eerste dame Monica Kalondo is Geingob se derde vrou.

Geingob het vanaf 2003 vir die Wêreldkoalisie vir Afrika in Washington gewerk totdat hy in 2004 na die land teruggekeer het. Hy is in 2012 opnuut as eerste minister aangestel en is in 2014 met die grootste stempersentasie nog (86,7%) tot president verkies is. Tienduisende opposisiekiesers het vir hom gestem.

Geingob het as president die Harambee-welvaartplan bekendgestel en die opskerping van die stryd teen korrupsie is saam met groter deursigtigheid en verantwoording van sy sleutelbeloftes.

Het het as SADC-voorsitter gedien in 2018-'19.
