United Spectrometer Technologies sells a range of portable XRF and infrared mineral analysers, used extensively in mining exploration and production worldwide. In mining production, the rapid analysis capabilities of these spectrometer lines allows for characterising hundreds of mineralogical samples per day. It is the de facto instrument for non-destructive identification of critical indicator and problem minerals, along with the quantification of other important metallurgical properties that can affect the production process and ore recovery.
