Twee Chinese moordbeskuldigdes borgtog geweier

Twee Chinese mans wat daarvan aangekla word dat hulle hul voormalige werknemer in April by die Andara-nedersetting in die Kavango-Oosstreek doodgeskiet het, is borgtog geweier.

Mnre. Chen Xuefeng (29) en Zhou Zhenhai (31) se borgtogverhoor was vanaf Maandag tot gister in die rondgaande hof op Mukwe.

Die twee sakemanne is in April in hegtenis geneem nadat die 34-jarige Haushiku Andreas Muyevu doodgeskiet is.

Die twee beskuldigdes was bereid om borgtog van N$100 000 elk te betaal en het deur hul regsverteenwoordiger, mnr. Florian Beukes, aangevoer dat hulle kinders in Namibië het om te onderhou en hul besighede daaronder ly terwyl hulle agter tralies is.

Mnr. Steven Haradöeb verteenwoordig die staat.
