Die Namibiese polisie het verlede week op verskeie wildprodukte beslag gelê en agt verdagtes in hegtenis geneem.

By Okahao is beslag gelê op een kameelperdkarkas, een .303-geweer, twee haelgewere en 18 patrone nadat twee Angolese, mnre. John Mantilamena en Victory Andreas, en 'n Namibiër mnr. Abed Joseph verlede Dinsdag in hegtenis geneem is.

Die twee Angolese staan ook tereg op klagte van dwarsboming van die gereg en die oortreding van die immigrasiewet.

Sondag op Rundu is mnre. Johannes Jesaya Kasera en Matheus Nkomba Kaveto glo met vier luislangvelle, asook die vel van 'n muskeljaatkat in hul besit in hegtenis geneem.

Twee luislangvelle is ook verlede Dinsdag deur die polisie by mnr. Phillipus Alfeus op Ondangwa gekonfiskeer.

'n Ietermagôvel is glo verlede Donderdag in die besit van mnr. Frans Lamek Tjihinga op Grootfontein gevind.

Mnr. Haita Paulus Tjambiru is verlede Maandag in verband met 'n ou renosterstroperysaak van Oktober 2015 by Orupembe in hegtenis geneem.
