The new RM Wispeco

Wispeco Namibia, now renamed RM Wispeco with an expert partner involved after a merger, will invest in local manufacturing, thus creating local employment. The main focus of the newly formed joint venture is local manufacturing and the supply of products to retail stores. The entity is the largest Namibian manufacturing distributor of steel windows, door frames, aluminium windows and doors, garage doors and motors, as well as hardware for these products. The Frans Indongo Group is still involved in the business with the expert shareholder.Who is this partner?Robmeg Steel is a South Africa company, operating since 2002. They started with steel processing. They are known for bending and the manufacturing of roof bolt washers for the mining industry. In 2005, they added manufacturing of steel door frames and steel combination doors to their operation and started to supply the building industry. Currently they offer a whole range of steel and aluminium windows, sliding doors “supply to fit” products as well as roll-up garage doors and sectional garage doors. The focus is on supplying the hardware industry and they have a range of clients operating in this space.Benefits to retail customers will be as follows:· Availability of products for short lead-times.· Access to distribution networks across Namibia as well as outlets at Swakopmund and Oshakati.· Competitive pricing.
