The Scientific Society, together with NEWS, will present a talk on green building in Namibia on Thursday, 16 February.

The talk, presented by Nina Maritz and Karen Miller, starts at 19:30.

The presentation will consist of a short introduction to green building in general and the activities of the Green Building Council of Namibia, followed by a in-depth look at the green aspects of the Ministry of Mines and Energy headquarters in Swakopmund, designed by Karen Miller Architects.

The presentation is open to the public and it will be held at the offices of the Namibia Scientific Society at 110, Robert Mugabe Avenue, opposite the National Theatre. Safe parking is available in the yard from the Love Street entrance.
