The sixth and penultimate Timeout Beach Series event of 2017, the Fabupharm Swakop Masters, will be hosted on 4 and 5 November at the beautiful setting of Mole Beach at Swakopmund – the perfect combination of sun, sea and sand.Games will start on both days at 08:00 and the finals will be around 13:00 on Sunday. Feel free to come and join on the beach and watch some great beach volleyball action.The competition will see top beach volleyball players taking part, including Carmen Kühn (Queen of the Beach 2017) and Daniel Pfeifer (King of the Beach 2017 as well as the current Timeout series overall points leader).The organisers are very excited to welcome back Fabupharm as tournament sponsor after it has been sponsoring the Swakop Masters event every year since 2015. “We are very thankful for their support and are looking forward to working with them again for this event,” says James Verrinder.The Timeout Beach Series has a total of seven events in 2017 and players collect points throughout the series to give an overall standing for the Men's, Ladies and Youth categories. Accounting for the fact that some may be unable to attend all seven events, the five best results for each player will give the final overall standings. After four Timeout Beach Series 2017 events so far, the overall standings are:Men: 1. Daniel Pfeifer (840 points), 2. Fabian Pfeifer (816), 3. Heiko Prior (768).Ladies: 1. Rosi Hennes (1056 points), 2. Carmen Curschmann (804). 3. Simone von Weitersheim (780), 4. Michi Böhringer (768).Youth: 1. Ricco Seebach (660 points), 2. Mirco Kriess (408), 3. Nino Leicher (396).The final Timeout 2017 series event is the Bank Windhoek Beach Bash on 22 December at Long Beach, Walvis Bay. Categories will be 4-a-side Mixed Pro as well as 4-a-side Mixed Social, with one female on court at all times and a maximum of 6 players per team).Entry fees are N$1 500 for the VIP package only, which includes volleyball team entry and six exclusive VIP passes to the Windhoek Draught Beach Bash 2017.
