One Africa TV en Eduvision het saamgespan om die #LearnOnOne-platform bekend te stel, waar gratis skoollesse vir Namibiese leerlinge vanaf Dinsdag op televisie uitgesaai gaan word.

Eduvision is ‘n projek van Edugate Academy.

‘n Vennootskapsooreenkoms tussen die One Africa TV en die Edugate Akademie se Eduvision-projek is op 1 April onderteken vir die verskaffing en uitsending van die Namibiese skoolkurrikuluminhoud vir graad 12, 11 en 10. Die uitsending van graad 12-klasse begin reeds Dinsdag 14 April.

Dan sal #LearnOnOne-materiaal gedurende die dag-TV-ure op die One Africa TV-kanaal op DStv 284, GOtv 90 sowel as aanlyn platforms Tv2Africa.com (gratis inskrywing) en DStv Now uitgesaai word.

Die twee organisasies het verder ingestem om saam te werk om lesse vir meer grade en vakke op te neem en uit te saai.

"In ‘n poging om gehalte-onderwys vir Namibiese kinders van oraloor te ondersteun”, en as bewys dat Namibiërs se veiligheid die eerste prioriteit is, is die platform op Dinsdag 7 April van stapel gestuur. #LearnOnOne is 'n sub-handelsmerk van One Africa TV sonder winsoogmerk, met die doel om Namibiese kinders en volwassenes volhoubaar gratis toegang tot ekstra klasse en opvoedkundige materiaal te bied, lui 'n persverklaring wat gesamentlik deur die twee organisasies uitgereik is.

Edugate Academy is 'n privaatskool in Otjiwarongo, bekend vir sy goeie akademiese prestasie sowel as sy Eduvision-projek wat interaktiewe klaskamers vir landelike skole oprig en bedryf.

Die doel van die Eduvision-projek is om die onderrig van wiskunde, natuur- en skeikunde en biologie by afgeleë en gemarginaliseerde skole te ondersteun deur middel van moderne tegnologie. Dit met behulp van goed gekwalifiseerde, bekwame en ervare onderwysers.
