Rooies Mostert nog nie aangekeer ná ontsnapping Saterdag

Die oudlanddros en eertydse Namibiese rugbyspeler, mnr. Walter (Rooies) Mostert (foto), is steeds op vrye voet nadat hy gister uit die Auas Hill-hospitaal in Windhoek ontsnap het.
Hy is sedert Augustus daar aangehou sodat hy mediese behandeling kon ondergaan
Mostert was sedert 1 Mei vanjaar in aanhouding. Hy is naby Tses deur die polisie aangekeer toe hy probeer het om ongesiens vanaf Suid-Afrika na Namibië terug te keer.
Hy het die afgelope sowat drie jaar in die Wes-Kaap gewoon en die Namibiese owerhede het Suid-Afrika versoek om hom uit te lewer.
Mostert staan saam met mee. Joyline Kambatuku, Eveline Meroro en mnr. Joram Salomo in die streekhof in Windhoek tereg op klagte ingevolge die Teenkorrupsiewet en die Wet op Immigrasiebeheer, geldwassery, afpersing, bedrog en pogings tot regsverydeling.
‘n Bron na aan die ondersoek het sy ontsnapping bevestig.
Nog die inspekteur-generaal van die polisie, lt.genl. Sebastian Ndeitunga, nog sy adjunk, genl.maj. Joseph Shikongo, kon vir kommentaar bereik word.
