RFA-tariewe met 6,5% verhoog

Die Padfondsadministrasie (RFA) se uitvoerende hoof, mnr. Ali Ipinge, het vanoggend ? tariefverhoging van 6,5% aangekondig.

Dit geld reeds van 1 Mei af.

Dit sluit in tariewe op die oorsteek van grense, langafstandtariewe, brandstofheffings, abnormale vrag-tariewe en jaarlikse voertuigregistrasie- en lisensiefooie.

Volgens Ipinge het die ministerie van finansies dié verhoging reeds op 20 Maart goedgekeur, en is dit op 30 April in die Staatskoerant gepubliseer.

Mnr. George Itembu, die RFA se finansiële hoof, het gesê Namibiërs kan verwag om sowat N$60 meer per jaar tot RFA-tariewe by te dra, terwyl Ipinge gesê het petrol en diesel sal sowat 8c meer per liter kos.
