Pedestrians prioritized
Following their Khomas Pedestrian Road Safety Audit, the MVA identified infrastructural concerns sighted by the public and with the assistance of corporate entities such as Vivo Energy, they have added speed bumps to problem areas in Katutura and also mountable curbs for the added convenience of the public and vulnerable pedestrians in the Windhoek CBD. Here, Jones Lutombi from the MVA, Mary Shiimi from the City of Windhoek and Johan Grobler from Vivo Energy are pictured at the ceremonial handover of the infrastructure to the COW last Friday.
