Pasop vir dié bedrieërs, waarsku eerste minister

Die Namibiese eerste minister, me. Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila, het die land se jeug in ‘n verklaring gewaarsku teen vals e-posse in haar naam wat daarop uit is om jong mense in te loop.

Die bedrieërs doen in die e-posse namens Kuugongelwa-Amadhila ‘n beroep op jong entrepreneurs om vir finansiële hulp by die Europese Ontwikkelingsfonds aansoek te doen.

Hulle word dan versoek om dadelik 100 pond (N$1 800) en 300 pond (N$4 982) as aansoekkoste en versekering oor te betaal.

Volgens die kantoor van die eerste minister is daar reeds jongmense wat hulle deur dié slenter laat vang het en wat hul geld kwyt is.

Kuugongelwa-Amadhila het haar van hierdie bedrogskema gedistansieer en die publiek gemaan om nooit geld oor te betaal of transaksies aan te gaan voordat hulle nie bevestig het dat dit nie ‘n bedrogskema is nie.
