Hier is hulle - vanjaar se finaliste in Republikein se Bruidspaar van die Jaar-kompetisie! Te oordeel aan die duisende SMS’e wat die koerant ontvang het om die top 10 te bepaal, gaan die finaal vir groot opwinding sorg. Ongelukkig, weens huidige omstandighede, kan daar nog nie gesê word wanneer dit sal plaasvind nie.
Tot op hede het dit maande se voorbereiding gekos om by die top 10 uit te kom. Die 120 paartjies wat ingeskryf het, moes eerstens hul troufoto’s en unieke stories oor hul groot dag instuur. Daarna het ’n beoordelingspaneel 30 semi-finaliste uitgesoek, wat voorwaar nie ’n maklike taak was nie.
Uiteindelik is die top 10 finaliste aangekondig ná die SMS-veldtog wat ongeveer 5000 stemme van lesers, bruidspare en hul families en vriende opgelewer het. Hierdie finaliste het die meeste SMS'e ontvang.
