Wolwedans Dune Camp is een van die inskrywings vir Namibia Media ­Holdings (NMH) se Verantwoordelike Toerisme-toekennings (RTA) vir 2018.

Dié kamp is die perfekte basis vanwaar die uitgestrekte ongerepte natuur ontdek kan word.

Dit sluit in groot en klein woestyn­diere, interessante flora en ­betowerende ­geologie. Wolwedans handhaaf volhoubaarheid, wat die vier C's (commerce, conservation, community en culture) insluit, en bestuur 'n woestyngebaseerde ekonomie.

Die kamp se sjarme lê in sy rustige, intieme atmosfeer wat die romanse van 'n vergete era vasvang.

Tydens 'n onlangse volhoubaarheidsevaluering van Eco Awards Namibia, het Wolwedans Dune Camp uitstekend gevaar en volpunte vir gidse, bestuur, bewaring en energie gekry - meer as 90% in totaal.

Met dié evaluering het Wolwedans Dune Camp gekwalifiseer om vir die 2018 RTA-kompetisie in te skryf wat deur NMH aangebied word.

Finaliste vir toekennings sal op 26 Februarie aangekondig word en die wenners sal tydens die amptelike opening van die Namibië Toerisme Ekspo 2018 ­aangewys word.
