Obama lists assets worth up to US$6,9 million

Washington - President Barack Obama lists assets worth between US$1,85 million and US$6,88 million, of which US$1 million to US$5 million were in intermediate-term Treasury notes, according to federal financial disclosure forms. Obama and his wife, Michelle, in April reported adjusted gross income of US$608 611 last year, down from the previous year as income from his best-selling books declined. As president, he is entitled to a US$400 000 annual salary. The president reported a mortgage of between US$500 000 and US$1 million on a residence in Illinois. He has retirement plans from the Illinois General Assembly and the University of Chicago. Vice President Joe Biden listed assets of between US$439 031 and US$1,07 million, disclosures showed.
