Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) en die Namibiese Vakbond vir Staatsdienswerkers (Napwu) het 'n dooiepunt in hul onderhandelinge vir salarisverhogings vir werknemers bereik.

Volgens 'n mediaverklaring van NWR, het die dooiepunt gelei tot 'n sertifikaat van 'n onopgeloste dispuut wat aan Napwu uitgereik is. Dit voorsien aan werknemers van NWR die mandaat dat hulle op 'n staking kan gaan.

Die dooipunt spruit uit Napwu wat op 'n salarisverhoging van 12% aandring, terwyl NWR 'n inflasieverwante verhoging voorstel soos volgens die ministerie van staatsondernemings.

"Ons onderhandel tans met alle rolspelers om 'n oplossing te vind om 'n moontlike staking af te weer," het NWR se besturende direkteur, me. Zelna Hengari, gesê.

"Terselfdertyd verseker ek kliënte dat sou die situasie verander, hulle steeds diens van ons sal kry wat hulle verwag. Ek bedank ook die direksie vir hul voortdurende leiding tydens die onderhandelinge.
