Pres. Donald Trump van Amerika is blakend gesond en sal na verwagting fisiek gesond bly vir die res van sy presidentskap. Hy moet net 'n bietjie gewig verloor.

Dít was Dinsdag die bevinding van dr. Ronny Jackson op 'n nuuskonferensie by die Withuis in Washington.

Die uitslae van Trump se mediese ondersoek én 'n kognitiewe toets kom te midde van die skrywer Michael Wolff se opspraakwekkende boek waarin personeel in die Withuis beweer Trump sê dieselfde goed by herhaling.

Trump het verlede Vrydag die mediese ondersoek by die Walter Reed Nasionale Mediese Sentrum ondergaan. Hy het ook 'n kognitiewe toets ondergaan. Trump se telling in die Montreal- kognitiewe assessering was 30/30, sê Jackson.
