New phishing scam hits clients
A new phishing scam has surfaced and Bank Windhoek once again urges clients and the general public to be cautious when receiving suspicious emails from individuals claiming to represent Bank Windhoek.
In the latest scam, clients receive emails with subject lines varying from "Confirmation of recent account update" or "Reactivate your online access" or "Internet access suspended".
Bank Windhoek will never request personal information from clients through sms or an email, nor will clients be requested to follow links attached to emails. Clients are advised to ignore such emails and delete them immediately.
