The Namibian Electronic Sports Association (NESA) is geared for its national tournament in eFootball PES 2020 and Tekken 7 to start. The first qualifier is scheduled for Saturday 1 August and will run from 09:00 until 17:00.

The venue is APS Guesthouse at 11 Robert Mugabe Avenue, Windhoek. The first round will start at 10:00 strictly.

eFootball PES 2020 is a football simulation game that was published on 30 July 2019 by the Japanese entertainment conglomerate, Konami Holdings Corporation. This will be the first time that NESA will host the title of eFootball PES at a national tournament and NESA is excited to see the results of the participants.

Anyone is welcome to come and participate – young and old, male and female. This tournament allows athletes from all over the country to test their skills against each other in an official championship that has the following benefits:

1. Cash prizes for the qualifier rounds,

2. Namibian citizens to qualify for the Namibian eSports team, and

3. Earn medals at the final round.

Anyone residing in Namibia who is able to attend the event, is eligible.

Entry fee is N$50 per game title for NESA members (please note that the annual NESA membership of N$250 had to be paid). Only Namibian NESA members will qualify for possible selection to the national eSports team.

For non-NESA members, entry cost is N$100 per game title.

Entries are open from today until the event starts.

To register, athletes must complete the entry form and submit a copy of their passport or ID. Entry forms are available online or can be requested from [email protected]

Age restrictions: None, however, anyone under the age of 18 must have their parents/guardian complete the NESA Parental Consent form.

Top 3 places of each title will receive cash prizes.
