Namibia’s trade deficit bulges
Namibia last year recorded a trade deficit of nearly N$19.5 billion, nearly N$2 billion or 11% more than in 2018.
Figures released by the Namibia Statistics Agency (NSA) today show Namibia exported goods worth nearly N$91.8 billion in 2019 compared to total imports of about N$110.6 billion.
The value of exports dropped, while imports rose.
