My journey as an editor

Monque Adams
Auguste Elago

For many, each responsibility marks a chance for reward. I am honored today to express the opportunities and transformative power of hope.

I have grown in strength and improved in resilience. The Amazing Times was not easy to run because of the pandemic (Covid-19) school was on and off, sometimes it was online. With the fast-changing academic set up. It is like running a half marathon, but each of these stories speak of the passion of journalism today and in the future.

Journalism is not only about writing stories or articles, but rather about creativity, innovating thinking and more. Journalism comes with a lot of advantages for instance one can work in different locations, meet new people and with that you can share different skills or ideas and being a journalist lets you grow in character.

My time as the editor of the Amazing Times has come to an end, however I have learned and grown in spirit, body and mind about journalism. The past two years have been challenging but as the saying goes “Hard work pays off”. I promise to hand it over to a responsible, committed and reliable editor for the year 2022. I believe he or she will do an excellent job and I wish them good luck in their careers as future journalists, media presenters or editors.
