Martha Afrikaner (22) is Donderdag omstreeks 09:00 op die plaas Dabis in die Omahekestreek dood nadat haar kêrel na bewering haar kop met ‘n byl afgekap het.

Die verdagte het die oorledene beskuldig dat sy ‘n verhouding met ‘n ander man het. Hy is dieselfde dag in hegtenis geneem. - Nampa

Vyf mans het Donderdag deur ‘n muur van die polisieselle op Khorixas gebreek en ontsnap.

Volgens die polisie het dit omstreeks 20:35 gebeur.

Die ontsnaptes is Sedekia Aebeb (32), Arnold Gaugab Guaob (20), Desmond Tsaeb (20), Forman Hoaebeb (25) en Moses Urimovandu (26).

Aebeb word van moord beskuldig en Guaob van veediefstal en huisbraak. Hoaebeb het ‘n veediefstalklag teen hom, terwyl Tsaeb en Urimovandu beide van huisbraak beskuldig word. - Nampa
