Francoise Steynberg - 'n Meisie wat op pad skool toe was, is vanoggend in Monte Christoweg in die hoofstad doodgery.

Volgens die Windhoekse stadspolisiehoof Abraham Kanime is twee 7-jarige meisies wat vanoggend skool toe geloop het, deur 'n bakkie in Monte Christo raakgery. Die voorval het omstreeks 06:00 plaasgevind.

"Een meisie het gesterf en die ander een is beseer en in 'n hospitaal opgeneem," het Kanime gesê.

"Dit is 'n tragiese voorval."

Hy doen 'n beroep op ouers om hul kinders na skole te vergesel en aan die ander kant maan hy bestuurders om stadig in woongebiede te ry.
