Die Verenigde Nasies (VN) se inwonende koördineerder in Namibië, Anita Kiki Gbeho, is op pad na Darfoer.
Sy sal daar die adjunk spesiale verteenwooordiger wees van die VN en die Afrika-unie (AU) se gesamentlike operasie in dié land. Sy val môre (1 Mei) in.
Dié gesamentlike operasie beskerm burgerlikes, voorsien humanitêre hulp en tree as tussenganger op tussen die regering en die gewapende bewegings ingevolge die Doha-dokument vir vrede in Darfoer.
Sy het vanaf Augustus 2015 in Namibië diens gedoen.
