Keniaanse president Uhuru Mwagai Kenyatta arriveer later vandag in Namibië vir ‘n vier daagse amptelike besoek aan die land.

Hy sal ook pres. Hage Geingob se eregas by die 29ste Onafhanklikheidsvieringe môre in Windhoek wees, sê die woordvoerder van die president, dr. Alfredo Hengari, in ‘n nuusverklaring.

Kenyatta het ook Namibië se 25ste Onafhanklikheidsvieringe in 2015 bygewoon.

Tydens Kenyatta se besoek sal die twee leiers verskeie bilaterale betrekkinge en samewerking op die gebiede van vervoer, visserye en mariene hulpbronne, handel en nywerheid, landbou, inligtingkommunikasietegnologie, gesondheid, verdediging en sekuriteit, mynbou en onderwys bespreek.
